Jacob Boyett and Gavin Pataki own and started Artisan Builders Collective. They've worked with top building teams, learning from experienced carpenters and home builders. This has given them strong knowledge and a love for producing high-quality work.

Jacob began his life in Shreveport, Louisiana, he knew from a very young age, he wanted to build homes, following in the footsteps of his father. Jacob began his journey in the trades in 2006 in Columbia, Missouri, where he cut his teeth on environmentally conscientious building techniques. He came to Ithaca, NY in 2012, fortunate enough to have worked with, and learn from, 2 incredible local contractors. Building everything from high end custom homes and remodels, to affordable single family homes.

Gavin is originally from Richford, New York and has a degree in Sculpture from Ithaca College. He started working at Lowe’s after college. Soon after that he moved to Colorado and transitioned from sales to construction after meeting some influential builders. In 12 years, he has helped frame over 100 homes, including 30 full custom projects from beginning to end. He has spent several years researching eco-conscious materials and home building techniques
